土肥夏祭り【天王祭】

土肥夏祭りはたいてい７月の初旬行います。日本では、季節がとても大切ですので、季節の祝いイベントがたくさんあります。

土肥は小さい漁業の町ですので、夏の始まりの祝って来年町は華麗になるのために行います。

それぞれの地区には、土地の人ははƫ笛と太鼓を弾きながら、二つの神輿を運びます。神輿の中で神様は寝ていると思っていますので、皆のドアの前に運んだら、神様も来るので皆一年間幸運が貰います。

それぞれの地区には、二つの神輿があります。大人と子供のためです。神輿の上に土肥金山を貰った金からできている装飾があいます。

皆参加できます。外国人も参加できます。

The Toi summer festival is usually held sometime in the first two weeks of July. In Japan, the seasons are very important so there are usually many events celebrating the passing of the seasons.

Toi is a very small fishing town so they hold this event both to celebrate the beginning of summer and to wish for the town to flourish in the next year.

Two mikoshis (portable shrine) are paraded around the different district in the town, accompanied by the locals playing the Japanese flute and taiko drums. The gods are believed to be resting within the mikoshi so by parading them, they are bringing the gods to the doors of everyone in the area, therefore bringing good fortune.

There are two main mikoshis for each district, one for children and one for adults. They also include some pure gold ornaments, created from the gold provided by the local gold mine when it was still open.

Anyone is welcome to participate, even foreigners.
