土肥トワイライトキャンドル

日本人にとって、８月がとても大切な月です。８月に始まり、お盆祭りがあります（亡くなった家族のために祈ります）。灯篭はお盆に帰ってきた死者の霊を、お盆の終わりにあの世へ送り出すために火を焚くと言われています。土肥トワイライトキャンドルは８月末ですが、そんな意味も込められています。

夏の終わりの夕暮れ時はとても幻想的です。キャンドルは色々な形で整えて、暗くなる時美しい絵が見えます。無料で皆参加できます。

オリジナルキャンドルホルダーは300円で作れます。

13時　ビーチを掃除します

15時　キャンドルを整えます

18時　キャンドルに火を付けます（チャッカマン持参でお集まりください）

August is a very important month for Japanese people. At the beginning of the month they celebrate obon (a festival to thank and pray for their ancestors and loved ones who have passed away). The lights are said to guide the souls back to where they reside after they have spent time with their family again. Although the event is not during the traditional obon season, the lights still have the same significance.

The Toi twilight candle event is a fairly new event to celebrate the end of summer approaching. The candles are arranged in numerous shapes to create beautiful artwork when the sun goes down. Everyone is able to participate in all parts of this event for free.

You are also able to make your own candle holder (300 yen).

Schedule:

13:00    Cleaning the beach

15:00    Arranging the candles

18:00    Lighting all of the candles (please bring your own lighter)
